The annual Field of Dreams Boys Baseball camp will be June 6th-10th. Coach Bill Wilson is looking forward to teaching the boys the fundamentals of baseball again this year. Cost is $35.00 and the time to sign up is now! This camp is for boys entering 3rd thru 8th grade next school year. Please pick up a registration form at the Guest Services, fill it out and attach the required fee, then return it to the church office as soon as possible.
Camp Goals: To provide players with basic fundamentals or catching, throwing, fielding, base running, and hitting techniques of baseball. Other areas that will be stressed are sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Fee: $35 (scholarships are available)
Equipment needed: Players will need to bring a glove, hat, and proper shoes. Loaner gloves will be available to those who need them.
Baseball-Hotdogs/Game Day: The tradition lives on! The last day of camp, Friday, June 10th, is designated as game day. The last 1 1/2 hours of camp will be a regulation game. Both age groups will participate from 8:30-11:00. Parents are encouraged to come and watch this, along with any of the sessions. We will wrap up the camp with a BBQ. We ask that you join us in the all-American baseball tradition.
