This year the theme for the Desperation Conference is, “No Compromise,” it echoes the growing longing within the heart’s of young people to be authentic, fully devoted followers of Jesus. Hypocrisy is not an option. Our hope is that God will transform weak and broken teenagers into passionate, thoughtful, and zealous young Christians.
Worship will be lead this year by the Desperation Band, John Mark McMillan and Charlie Hall!! Its going to be a time for us as a youth group to press into this God who loves us so much, to seek His face and the change that comes from entering into His presence! My hope is that we, the.Hill, will go and catch this vision for authentic worship and prayer. That we will be given a vision and a passion for what God wants to do in us and through us!!
I am a firm believer in fellowship and fun!!! To achieve this we have decided to attend a Rockies Baseball Game Saturday night to celebrate what God will have done in our lives and have some good old fashion fun!!! We also want to try some rare and exotic foods!!! Some of the places we will be experience are: Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Chipotle, Noodles and Co. and the world famous Louis pizza!!!
Parents, WE only have 10 more places for this amazing trip!!! You must act today to secure a place for your student. The total cost is $250 and the final payment is due Wednesday, June 29th. In order to reserve a place you must turn in the $50 deposit, $100 second payment, a copy of your insurance card and the release form. Also, we are still looking for a few more chaperons.
