0n April 18th, Pastor Kellen and a team are going to be traveling to Mexico to help with construction at an orphanage. This page will be where they will be keeping us up to date with what's going on.

We're working hard to get this home finished! Not much time to update, but we're all picking up momentum and getting things done! We were also able to bless Damon with insulation from state side that would have cost him over twice as much here in Mexico. Time to go back to work, but enjoy the pictures for now – we'll be getting to play with the children's home kids tonight – hopefully I'll remember to take pictures.

Hey everyone! We got here safely after 20 hours of travel in our trusty Cornerstone Van. We had a great time talking on the way down, reminiscing on past trips as well as talking about what God might have in store for us as we start a new chapter in Cornerstone missions here in Saltillo.

We had HUGE favor at the border - we got all our visas and vehicle permission in a little over an hour this morning, and didn't get stopped for inspection once. We got to where we will be staying and serving this week, Casa Hogar de las Montanas (Children's Home of the Mountains), around 1:30 this afternoon. We had a great lunch waiting for us here with Philip and Rebecca Askey, a couple from Decatur, Texas who God called to serve here just last year. They came full-time starting in January this year, serving meals and coordinating mission teams here at the home. They have an awesome testimony. We also got to meet the 12 kids from the childrens home and the "house parents", who basically serve as the family for these children. Once these children are here, they are basically here to stay. They hope to someday build a vocational school for these children to learn trades and be able to go to college.

Our team is awesome - we have a really unique blend of people this year, and it's just how God wanted it. It'll be fun to see how He uses us this week. Everyone is having fun, focused on our goal to serve, and in good health. Things to pray for:

- Favor working on the home - that there are no delays so we can get this second home close to finished, to bring in 12 more kids who need a family!

- That we would clearly hear God's direction for our time here

- That we would challenge and sharpen each other and have increased vision individually when we return

- That God would bring the workers to this ministry as they continue to grow

We can't wait to see what God has in store! Please keep us in your prayers - I'll try to send pictures later!
