Cornerstone Church is going to be having a baseball camp for boys 4th-8th grade this June. The camp will focus on providing players with basic fundamentals of catching, throwing, fielding, base running, and hitting techniques of baseball. Other areas that will be stressed are sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Fee : $25 (scholarships are available)
Date: June 2nd-6th
Boys going in to 3rd-5th grades - 8:30-11:00am
Boys going in to 6th-8th grades - 1:00-3:30pm
Where: Clint Lightner Field
Equipment needed: Players will need to bring a glove, hat, and proper shoes.
Loaner gloves will be available to those who need them.
Game Day : The last day of camp, Friday, June 6th, is designated as game
day. The last 1 1/2 hours of camp will be a regulation game. Parents are
encouraged to come and watch this, along with any of the sessions.
Baseball-Hotdogs-Apple Pie: The tradition lives on! On Friday, June 6th we
will rap up the camp with a BBQ. We ask that you join us in the all-American
baseball tradition of hotdogs and apple pie.
Weekly Game Days : Following the week of camp we will have a day designated as game day. Campers are encouraged to join us in games once a week. Time and dates are to be announced.
