Desiring God is a key to every Christian’s growth. It is the vision of the children’s department to do ministry in a way that teaches children to desire God! In today’s culture, many things can steal away this desire, and we need to ensure that our children are firmly rooted with a love for Christ. This driving desire is propelled by knowing that we are loved and accepted by Christ unconditionally.
Every chance we have, we want the kids to know that they are loved. Every week, we have a powerful opportunity to connect with kids and express how excited we are that they joined us. As a result families will know that they are loved when they come to church at Cornerstone because their children are taken care of.
I believe in 2007 we will see between 20-30 new families come to church because of our children's ministry!
